We are offering opportunities for Legal/ Executive Assistants from junior to senior levels to join a range of firms, from specialised boutiques to large top tier firms. Roles are available across a variety of practice areas, including Personal Injury, Employment, Commercial, and Family Law, with salaries to match experience.
Job Description
* Managing and coordinating calendars, including scheduling client appointments, meetings, and court dates.
* Preparing and formatting legal documents and correspondence with a high level of accuracy.
* Conducting file management, including opening, closing, and maintaining both electronic and physical client files.
* Assisting with document preparation for court filings and ensuring compliance with relevant court deadlines.
* Handling incoming calls and emails, responding to client inquiries, and directing communications to the appropriate lawyer.
* Organising travel arrangements and itineraries for Partners and lawyers when required.
* Managing billing and invoicing processes, including preparing client accounts and processing payments.
* Assisting with the preparation of briefing materials and coordinating with external parties.
* Maintaining confidentiality and managing sensitive client information with discretion.
* Assisting with office administration tasks, such as ordering supplies and maintaining a tidy office environment.
* Providing general administrative support to lawyers and the broader team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient practice management.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented and highly organised professional with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced legal environment. You will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and demonstrate a proactive approach to providing support to lawyers and clients. A background in legal administration, coupled with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and delivering high-quality work, will make you an ideal fit for this role.
Ideally minimum 2 years experience in a law firm is preferred.
