About the role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dental Assistant (Junior) to join our thriving orthodontic practices in Port Macquarie and Taree, NSW.
As a part-time Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our Orthodontist and Oral Health Therapists whilst providing exceptional patient care.
What you'll be doing
Sterilising and maintaining dental equipment and instruments Greeting and welcoming patients, and ensuring a positive patient experience Providing chairside assistance, including preparing materials and instruments Ensuring the clinic and waiting area are clean, organised and well-stocked Preparing appliances in our lab Facilitating the flow of the practice by managing patient records and scheduling Assisting during patient consultations and treatments Undertaking administrative tasks as required Note: Weekly travel to Taree is required and occasional travel for team building and community activities will be required.
What we're looking for
A passion for dentistry and a desire to provide exceptional patient care Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients of all ages Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Someone seeking a career in the dental sector with a desire to achieve a Certificate III and then Certificate IV in Dental Assisting A positive, friendly and enthusiastic attitude What we offer
