Established to support the communities around Camden, Picton, Narellan, and the Oaks, the College is now in its 26th year of operation. A permanent full-time position commencing 31 January 2025. The successful applicant will be required to teach across all PD/H/PE subjects. The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential. ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church. Create and maintain an orderly, safe, and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L. Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning. Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in PD/H/PE. Use a range of assessment strategies and analyze data to inform student learning. Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents/carers, and the wider College community. DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA Aptitude and willingness to contribute to the broader life of Magdalene Catholic College whilst supporting the PDHPE Faculty and what it offers the College. The ability to teach Religious Education. GENERAL CAPABILITIES Well-developed interpersonal skills. Well-developed oral and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong organizational skills. QUALIFICATIONS Appropriate qualifications for teaching the nominated Key Learning Areas listed above. Level B Accreditation in accordance with To Work, Teach and Lead policy or a commitment to gain level within the first 5 years of employment with CEDoW.
