As a Branch Assistant, you'll be the first point of contact for retail and trade customers, guiding them through product selections, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring they receive top-notch service.
Your role will be a mix of customer interaction, sales support, and relationship management.
This is a full-time role based in Tamworth, NSW.
Your responsibilities: Assisting retail and trade customers with product selection and orders Building relationships with key partners like local builders and plumbers Providing consultative advice to help customers achieve their renovation goals Creating quotes, processing sales, and following up on orders Managing an account base and supporting store operations Collaborating with your team to maintain a high level of customer service What you'll need to succeed: Industry Experience : Plumbing industry experience or knowledge of plumbing products or wholesale/trade sales experience would be highly beneficial.
Consultative Sales Skills : You should be comfortable engaging with customers and providing tailored recommendations.
Team Player Attitude : We value hard-working, adaptable team members who contribute to a positive work culture.
Strong Communication : You'll be working closely with experienced tradespeople who expect efficient, knowledgeable service.
Driver's Licence and Forklift Licence : A car licence is required, as you may occasionally assist with external sales support.
A Forklift licence is preferred.
