Level 2/3 Support Engineer/EUC TechnicianWe are recruiting for one of our Federal Government clients for a 12m contract. This role is based in Dandenong, so perfect for someone based in the South Eastern suburbs. You must be an Australian Citizen to apply for this role.What will you bring to the role?Strong ICT technical skills with a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new challenges.Solid understanding of data networking, including WAN and LAN (both ethernet and Wi-Fi), with knowledge of switching between connection types.Hands-on experience in user onboarding, device imaging, software and hardware upgrades, and decommissioning of equipment.Well-developed interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team, ideally in an ICT-related role.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated aptitude for lateral thinking.Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to maintaining a positive work ethic.A strong inclination toward continuous learning, research, and curiosity-driven self-improvement.Ability to establish and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders.Proven time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines and achieve objectives.Key Responsibilities:Provide onsite and remote technical support for End User Computing (EUC) infrastructure at the local office, including laptops, printers/scanners, mobile devices, and tablets. This includes supporting Windows 10/11, Citrix, Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, and Microsoft Office 365.Deliver Level 2/3 ICT technical support for commercial software applications used by local staff.Manage and distribute the ICT laptop and desktop fleet, ensuring accurate updates in asset registers (ServiceNow).Configure and support networked multi-function devices (Papercut).Provide and support ICT assistive technologies.Facilitate office refits and relocations of ICT end-user hardware.Monitor and manage ticket queues, triaging and resolving tickets efficiently (ServiceNow).Assist users with video conferencing and telephony, including Microsoft Teams.Deliver day-to-day IT support to ABS staff, including VIP personnel.Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (Cloud-based or On-Premises).Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft Intune is advantageous.Please note this job closes on Thursday 5pm Melbourne time so apply ASAP as applicants submitted after this will not be considered.
