Make a Real Difference as a Mental Health Support Worker
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to join our team in delivering integrated, recovery-oriented services.
About the Role:
In this rewarding role, you will work under the guidance of a clinician to provide non-clinical, practical support to mental health consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide psychosocial support across community, acute, and rehabilitation settings.
* Assist consumers with practical tasks to achieve their care plan goals.
* Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support the recovery process.
* Help educate and empower consumers about their recovery journey.
* Report and liaise effectively with a variety of service providers.
Requirements:
* Experience in working with mental health or health-related issues.
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Experience with Aboriginal consumers and community-based services.
* A Certificate III or above in Mental Health Work (Non-Clinical), or willingness to study further.
