What you’ll do
The role is responsible for driving growth and increasing revenue in partnership with Cartology, our retail media business. As part of the marketing team and in collaboration with Cartology, you will be responsible for delivering on our ambitious growth and revenue goals via retail media. This role requires a leader and strategic thinker with deep understanding of effective retail media tactics, as well as the ability to co-ordinate across multiple teams/functions, drive a product roadmap and champion innovation and new approaches to deliver incremental growth.
* Demonstrate strong experience and understanding of media and the evolving retail media landscape
* Own and deliver the retail media product roadmap to drive incremental revenue through new channels and activity
* Lead the development and implementation of strategic retail media recommendations across Bricks & Mortar, Media and Digital tactics at BIG W.
* Define ways of working across cross functional teams to scale retail media campaigns and activity
* Oversee operational cadences across teams to ensure consistency and adherence to guidelines.
* Lead on E2E annual planning across marketing, commercial, Cartology teams and vendors.
* Strong communicator, with collaborative strength to develop relationships cross functionally to drive an aligned outcome and deliverables.
What you’ll bring
* 8+ years of partnership and retail marketing experience, with a proven track record of developing and executing successful retail media initiatives that deliver impact on business objectives.
* Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously and to think and solve problems creatively
* Strong communication, partnership and time management skills
