Our multidisciplinary health professionals and case managers take a collaborative approach to mental health care by linking with their patients to work together and consult within an environment appropriate to the person's needs.Role OverviewThe role of Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of triage, comprehensive assessment, acute and assertive outreach services to clients and their families to ensure that clients receive the least restrictive treatment options. This involves the provision of acute care interventions and follow-up of clients recently discharged from inpatient services and to clients presenting to the service who have been assessed as being in need of acute care services.The successful candidate will take part in the development of collaborative treatment plans with the client and their family or carer. Additionally, the Registered Nurse works collaboratively with other members of the multidisciplinary Access team and inpatient and community-based services.
