The Role:
An exciting opportunity is available for an energetic, passionate, and hardworking individual to join our Head Office team in Carrum Downs in the position of Supervisor. The focus of this diverse role will be to travel to sites around Melbourne to provide detailed site assessments and comprehensive scope of works allowing for accurate repairs in all aspects of building and contents restoration. You will be responsible for site assessments, providing customers with reassurance, submitting repair scope of works and quotations, relationship building & maintaining, and liaising with clients to obtain works for the company. Key Responsibilities:
* Attend sites & assess biohazard remediation/ restoration works.
* Report writing, collation and submission of relevant variation information
* Interpret and deliver scope of works provided by consultants
* Build new & leverage existing relationships with key insurance personnel within the industry
* Liaise with & engage sub-contractors during quotation stage
* Liaise with customers, insurers, and all key stakeholders
* Work within industry KPI’s
* Work in conjunction with estimators to ensure works are delivered within budgets & timeframes
* Ensure all work conforms to legislative & contractual OH&S requirements
* Ensure all inspections, certificates & relevant documentation is signed off

Key Selection Criteria:
* Knowledge of the Construction Industry, Building Trade Qualification and/or previous Supervising experience is advantageous, but not essential
* Restoration or Insurance Building background is beneficial, however not essential
* Strong computer skills with a confident & professional phone manner
* Excellent organisational & time management skills
* Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with a positive attitude & sound work ethic
* Ability to manage multiple & competing priorities.
* Ability to build effective relationships & be empathetic to the needs of the customer
* Dispute resolution skills
* Familiarity with OHS practices, legislations & regulations
* Familiarity with current market rates & trades
* Current & valid motor vehicle licence
