About Our Program
Our 2-year Graduate Program is a full-time, permanent role from day one. It is uniquely designed to equip you with the experience, knowledge, and networks that will empower you to succeed.
Program Streams
* IT: Our IT branches include rotations where you will work in teams that design, develop, deliver, and enhance software products, systems, and platforms. It has functions across all parts of the software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, integration, implementation, maintenance, and retirement.
* Networks: Our Networks branches include rotations where you will work with teams that manage the planning and design of technical facilities to support Optus services as well as performance of Optus Transport Network, which underpins the delivery of voice, data, and video content to both fixed broadband and mobile customers right across Australia.
* Satellite: Qualifications and Certificates accepted but not limited to - Network Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Aerospace engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, and Space Engineering.
* Corporate Program: People & Culture, Finance, Customer Success, Customer Solutions. Qualifications and Certificates accepted but not limited to - Business, Commerce, HR, Business, Finance, and Accounting.
Eligibility Criteria
We know the best ideas come from curious collaborators, unique voices, and positive game changers. Optus Graduate program allows for skills to be nurtured not expected. To be eligible for our program, you will need to meet the following criteria:
* You are an Australian Citizen, New Zealand Citizen, or Permanent Resident.
* Have completed an Advanced Diploma, Bachelor's degree (or higher) or TAFE Certificate level qualification in 2023, 2024, or expect to complete your final subject by December 2025, inclusive of any internships or work experience placements required for graduation.
* Be willing to work predominantly from our Macquarie Park campus in Sydney.
* Be available to commence in February 2026.
