About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Site Supervisor to join our client’s dedicated team. In this role, you will oversee various construction projects across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality and safety standards. The right candidate must be willing to travel as required.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide support to management plan, schedule and prepare all aspects of the project
2. Contribute to the compilation of key project documents required to minimise risk and communicate project requirements to all parties
3. Determine needed resources from start to finish
4. Assess and coordinate logistics needed for the project
5. Supervise and coordinate daily site activities, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards
6. Manage subcontractors and site personnel, promoting a collaborative and productive environment
7. Monitor project progress, providing regular updates and addressing any challenges
8. Ensure proper utilisation of materials and equipment on-site
9. Maintain effective communication with clients, architects, and engineers to align project goals and resolve any issues
Qualifications:
1. Certificate IV in Building and Construction from a recognised Australian education institution or relevant equivalent experience
2. Site Supervisor Licence and White Card
3. Proven experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry
4. Strong understanding of construction methodologies and site safety practices
5. Excellent communication and leadership skills
6. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively
7. Willingness to travel across Australia and New Zealand as needed
8. Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
