About the role: We are seeking an experienced Finance & Commercial / Finance Manager to join our corporate team, based at North Ryde. Reporting to the GM of Finance and working closely with the EGM Logistics, you will provide vital financial, business, and commercial partnering support to our Logistics and Supply Chain teams. This role is central to developing and implementing financial controls, systems, and reporting to ensure alignment with the CSR strategy and business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting: Own the reporting and interrogation of Logistics financial performance and KPIs. Budgeting and forecasting for warehouse and transport operations, international logistics and group logistics. Prepare monthly performance review packs, analysing results and key variances. Stocktake/audit management across the group. Own the financial governance and control frameworks for Logistics to ensure compliance. Conduct financial reviews and provide insights into transport cost drivers and optimisation initiatives. Assessment and resolution of major cost leakage areas. Commercial & Strategic Support: Lead and support strategic commercial opportunities and projects, including interrogation of financial results to identify and act on opportunities. Support the analysis and development of business cases for Logistics Transformation and BAU projects, including cost/benefit analysis. Assess the commercial viability of major logistics tenders and develop optimal commercial structures for CSR. Oversee carrier rate reviews and ensure customer freight cost recovery mechanisms are deployed effectively. Provide commercial leadership for logistics procurement activities. What you bring to the role Qualifications & Experience: CPA/CIMA/CA qualified. 5 years of experience in a similar role with significant exposure to logistics operations. Proven ability to develop and utilize advanced financial and operational models. Skills & Competencies: Advanced Excel proficiency and experience with business analytics tools (e.g., Power BI). Strong financial acumen paired with analytical and commercial skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly and effectively. Exceptional time management and organizational skills. Ability to manage competing demands and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
