We are seeking a skilled and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Wound Management Clinic, where you will provide clinical expertise in assessment, treatment, and care planning for clients while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, individualised wound care. About the role A part-time opportunity exists for a highly skilled, competent, and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Wound Management Clinic. In this role, you will provide clinical expertise and serve as a resource in delivering quality nursing care within a multidisciplinary wound management program. Your primary responsibilities will include assessment, treatment, and care planning for clients referred to our clinic, ensuring specialised services that cater to individual needs. Key Responsibilities: Perform accurate assessments and develop individualised care plans. Evaluate patient responses to care and implement necessary changes. Lead and participate in multidisciplinary care planning and referrals to services such as Nutrition and Podiatry. Educate clients on self-management techniques and provide leadership in quality care initiatives. Collaborate with teams to enhance systems promoting effective wound management. Position overview Permanent, Part time (32 hours per fortnight) Warrnambool Campus Classification: Clinical Nurse Specialist Salary: $99,252.40 pro rata, plus superannuation What you bring Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA Registration. Clinical Nurse Specialist with a post-basic qualification in wound management. 12 months equivalent full-time experience in wound management or 4 years nursing experience with 3 years focused in this area. Strong clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills. Desirable Skills: Experience mentoring less experienced nurses. Ability to educate healthcare professionals and community groups.
