About the Team: The Customer Service/Payments team processes grants, rebates, and vouchers to support communities affected by disasters and emergencies.
Their role requires handling sensitive information and managing high call volumes to gather details and process grants efficiently.
About the Role: As a Team Leader, you will oversee a team of Claims Assessors handling emergency-related inquiries, ensuring efficient, empathetic and compassionate service delivery.
You will be responsible for: Managing and leading a team, allocating workflows, and implementing best practices.
Supporting complex grant application assessments and ensuring compliance.
Attending meetings with the Grants Manual Assessment Team and key stakeholders.
Conducting eligibility reviews, investigations, and inquiries.
Coaching and developing staff to enhance performance and service quality.
About You: Experienced leader with at least 2+ years managing teams (10+ people) in a fast-paced setting.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with an empathetic nature.
Customer-driven, and able to problem-solve under pressure.
Background in grants, rebates, or voucher administration (preferred, not essential).
Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning & Genesys (advantageous).
