We are seeking a skilled Plant Operator to join our team at Baker Hughes. As a key member of our Chemical Operations department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the production of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities
As a Plant Operator, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Receiving and inspecting incoming materials for quality and accuracy
* Performing decanting of liquid chemical products and ensuring safe and reliable delivery to customers
* Managing product samples according to QC requirements
* Maintaining plant equipment and performing regular checks
* Ensuring compliance with HSE standards and policies
* Verifying stock/product quality and receiving correct paperwork
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A high school certificate or equivalent level of education
* 3-5 years' experience in chemical plant operations
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to read and interpret routine instructions and correspondence
* Proficiency in multiple software systems (Outlook, SAP, Microsoft Office)
* Forklift license
