Job Description About Your New EmployerWest Technology is proud to be partnering with a well-established software development company with an established portfolio of proven products, including customer engagement and relationship management solutions and advanced payment solutions.About Your New RoleAs an IT Project Manager reporting to the CTO, you will be responsible for managing the current project lifecycle to ensure timely delivery while building and maintaining excellent relationships with vendors and internal customers.
This is a very hands-on role requiring someone who is confident and can lead from the front.Key tasks include:Project Planning and Execution: Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client requirements.Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors to ensure seamless integration of their solutions into the payment project.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, monitoring their performance against agreed-upon metrics.Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate project progress, risks, and issues to internal and external stakeholders.
Facilitate productive meetings to gather feedback, address concerns, and ensure alignment with project objectives.Resource Allocation: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to allocate resources efficiently, ensuring that project tasks are completed on time and within budget.
Optimize team performance through effective leadership and motivation.About YouProven experience as an IT Project Manager in the software development industry, or a focus on software development projects.Demonstrable experience as an IT Project Manager within a product development project would be highly advantageous.Excellent communication skills.Must demonstrate an ability to lead the team with confidence, have strong decision-making skills, and can steer the ship by drawing on previous experience.Ability to influence and lead by example to ensure accountability is held by team members and project milestones are met.Demonstrated success in managing external vendors and building strong partnerships.Strong mindset with the ability to make decisions and drive results.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Familiarity with software delivery processes and methodologies.Project Management certifications (such as PMP / PMBOK) is a plus.All Rights Reserved | West Recruitment Pty Ltd#J-18808-Ljbffr
