About the role:
The Senior Medical Officer (SMO) provides quality medical services to inpatients and outpatients at Mount Morgan Multipurpose Health Service, including 24-hour emergency coverage.
This role also involves private practice at a co-located surgery.
The position offers opportunities for professional development and skill maintenance.
Mount Morgan is an approved training post for the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP).
About you:
MBBS or equivalent eligible for registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia (MBA) and AHPRA.Current certificates in:Advanced Life Support (ALS)Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS)Early Management of Severe Trauma (EMST)Enrolment / Acceptance onto a GP training program that will facilitate a provider number with access to Medical benefits for the private practice.Post Graduate experience in emergency is highly desirable.What we offer:
