Job Title: Senior Psychologist
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Grade 3 Psychologist to join our dedicated Mental Health team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess client needs, identify and mitigate psychological barriers to goal attainment using various modalities and techniques.
* Provide regular supervision, support from the whole team, and access to professional development activities.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated ability to liaise and consult with clients, carers, professionals, and community agencies as an independent clinician.
* Highly effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, including negotiation, conflict resolution, and creativity in problem-solving.
* Developed reporting skills, including writing reports, professional articles, and submissions.
* Consolidated skills and experience in supervising professional staff to promote competence and individual development.
* Excellent organisational and time management skills.
* Flexible approach.
* Knowledge of and participation in continuous quality improvement processes.
* Commitment to clinical research and continuing professional development.
* Experience in public mental health settings, particularly working with diverse patient populations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, and other culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
* Ability to manage workloads effectively and generate strategies for prioritisation.
