What are we looking for?
We are lookingfor casual Seasonal Production Operators at our Tatura Foods factory. Work will commence as soon and conclude in mid-2024. Shifts are 8 hours, Monday to Friday, (commencing at 3 pm). Work with a great crew on above award rates, with overtime, penalty rates, and applicable allowances.
Successful candidateswill receive on the job training and will be required to complete a range of manufacturing processes associated with food production to meet daily/weekly production targets.
Key Responsibilities of the Seasonal Production Operator role will include:
1. Basic mechanical operations including set up, operate, adjust, and shut down automatic, semi-automatic, or single-purpose machines
2. Performing Quality Assurance checks
3. Complete computer skills/data entry into databases
4. Adhere to our stringent safety, food safety, quality & hygiene standards
5. Report safety, quality, and environmental incidents and issues
What does success look like as a Seasonal Production Operator?
6. Positive, punctual, with a good work ethic, good availability
7. Good team player, keen to learn, good communicator
8. Ability to follow, understand and apply instructions
9. Basic problem solvingskills
10. Strong commitment to safety and safe working practices
11. Familiarity with Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP), Food Standards Codes, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and adherence to a robust Food Safety Culture
12. Satisfactorily pass Unilever’s pre-employment medical which includes drug & alcohol testing
13. All applicants must also be in possession of current and fully unrestricted valid working rights to work in Australia at the time of their application.
