You will focus on supporting our site-based team, providing the required level of Asset Management/Engineering expertise and direction in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner whilst meeting or exceeding our customers' expectations and deliverables.
What you’ll do
* Comply with Worley Power Services Risk Management, Quality Assurance, Health Safety & Environment Management systems, including statutory obligations.
* Routinely review and monitor site asset and system performance data and issues. Revise and update the Asset Management Plan accordingly and integrate with the life cycle plan.
* Provide asset and technical input for site to ensure successful operations such that the client service requirements and the company’s business objectives are met.
* Deliver site-specific asset management initiatives such as the Condition Monitoring program, Outage scopes/plans, and Maintenance Improvement programs as necessary.
* Implement, monitor, and manage agreed contractual KPI’s and budgets whilst developing and implementing cost-saving initiatives.
* Provide asset management and technical support to site crew by solving problems, building technical capability, and fostering teamwork.
* Develop excellent working relationships with client interfaces and identify ways to add value to the client organization.
* Provide timely and accurate input to the annual Asset Management Plan including operation and maintenance, projects, planned and forced outage budgets.
* Provide relevant support to business development and asset management initiatives as required.
* Provide leadership, direction, and recommendations in the optimization of plant processes.
* Maintain an effective process performance modeling system as applicable to power plants for condition monitoring and continuous improvement opportunities.
* Manage Engineering consultants and contractors as required.
* Provide specialist advice on policy/procedural matters and contribute to their development and review.

* Tertiary qualifications in a mechanical engineering discipline with relevant practical experience of which at least 3 years must have been served in a power generation environment.

* Best Practice application.
* Asset management strategies.
* Demonstrable knowledge of OHS&E legislation and duty of care.
Job Specific Knowledge:
* Asset Management best practices (ISO 55001).
* Key performance indicators implementation.
* Company procedures development/implementation.
* Applicable technical codes and standards (Australian, International, Site specific and Client’s engineering directives).
* Implementation of client relationship strategies.
* Performance management and systems improvement plans.
* Root Cause Analysis and Fault Elimination.
* Risk Based Inspection development and management.
* Management of both static and rotating equipment.
