The Role
Arrowquip is seeking a Procurement Manager based at their key manufacturing facility in Tamworth, procuring all materials for the manufacture of many and varied products. This role is a critical part of the team and includes the following responsibilities:
1. Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholder both internal and external
2. Procurement of all facets of the manufacturing requirements
3. Execute logistics and contract arrangements with freight providers and onsite coordination to maintain supply in line with manufacturing future schedules
4. Monitor markets, supply chain and other external contributors to support and influence the analysis to maximise procurement efficiency
The Person
The successful candidate for this position will have exposure to procurement in a manufacturing environment, ideally in equipment manufacturing
You will have:
5. an understanding or affinity with agriculture
6. procurement experience at any level
7. strong commercial / negotiation skills
8. a natural collaborator who enjoys being part of a dynamic team
9. excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
10. ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
11. computer skills and the ability to use MS Office products including excel
12. ability to travel but not extensively
Reporting to a dynamic and long term thinking COO, you play a vital role within the business working with all aspects of the business including management and other departments.
You are the go to person for all matters procurement and are an important cog in the manufacturing supply chain.
