About the role
Join our Treasury section as Senior Finance Analyst and focus on financial modelling related to Council’s long-term performance and revenue streams.
You will contribute to the delivery of high quality financial management for the organisation through analytical, modelling advisory services. Using your communication, research, analytical and evaluation skills, you will support informed reporting and internal decision making processes, including but not limited to:
* Long term financial forecasts
* Rates and utility charges modelling
* Development and management of full cost and activity-based pricing models
* Revenue analysis, and
* Debt and investment management
The role will also contribute to traditional treasury services including policy development, banking, trust fund management and taxation within the local government environment. Please note, Council does not trade in complex debt or investment instruments.

About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
* A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a relevant role with a focus on financial or economic modelling and analysis
* Belief in our values of communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency, and leadership
* Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another relevant field, and eligibility of membership of CPA Australia or other recognised accounting body are desirable, but not essential

This is a permanent, full time position at level 6 with a salary commencing at $100,533 plus 12.5% superannuation.
