The Role We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Speech Pathologist based in Karratha Whether you're an experienced clinician or a recent graduate eager to grow, this is an exciting opportunity to work with a transdisciplinary team delivering therapy services to paediatric and adult clients in a range of settings—including culturally diverse communities and corrective services environments. As a Speech Pathologist at Patches, you’ll be supported by an established Allied Health team and our National transdisciplinary therapy service. You’ll have access to purpose-built technology and modern therapy rooms in our open-plan office, ensuring you can focus on what truly matters—helping our clients thrive. OUTREACH: This role requires travel to Hedland for one week each month OR every 6 weeks. This role offers flexibility with both part-time or independent contractor options available. What You’ll Bring A contemporary understanding of speech pathology service delivery within an NDIS context.A proven track record of delivering person-centred therapy for individuals with developmental and/or acquired disabilities.A team-oriented mindset, a passion for collaboration, and a commitment to ongoing learning.Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, families, and colleagues effectively.A desire to adapt and grow alongside the needs of our business and participants. What We’d Love To See (Desired Criteria) Experience delivering mealtime interventions, AAC, or social skills therapies.Training in PROMPT therapy or positive behaviour support (PBS).Experience supervising early career speech pathologists.Ability to assess and prescribe individualised AAC systems within an NDIS framework.
