About the Role
As a Transaction Banking Specialist, you will be responsible for:
1. Leading and collaborating in working capital solutions for new to bank and existing customers within Commercial.
2. Providing ongoing quality service to identified account managed customers.
3. Serving as a subject matter expert for payments and cash management products to provide appropriate solutions to different customers.
4. Delivering and maintaining high standards across all processes within Transaction Banking, ensuring excellent customer service.
Role Type: Permanent, Full Time (40 hrs/week)
What will your day look like?
As a Transaction Banking Specialist, you are accountable for:
1. Driving profitable, sustainable growth of the Transaction Banking products in Commercial.
2. Ensuring customer centric outcomes for NTB and existing customers by conducting complete needs analysis and appropriate solutions development.
3. Supporting customers' migration to digital channels as well as providing cyber security education.
4. Maintaining focus and uplift on account managed portfolio by undertaking regular Transaction Banking Reviews and Working Capital Analysis packs to drive portfolio growth objectives.
5. Extending excellent customer experience to account managed customers by providing quality, timely and precise responses to customers.
6. Strengthening and deepening the value of customer relationships by educating customers with key insights on how they can use Transaction Banking better.
7. Engaging with central support teams to enable quality pitch documents.
8. Raising the Transaction Banking brand and profile through collaboration and customer engagement.
9. Identifying risk issues within processes and determining remediation requirements.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
1. Transaction Banking product knowledge (both Commercial and Institutional) commensurate with expectations of job grade.
2. Financial background with a strong understanding of the Payments Industry.
3. Sales and networking experience with relationship building skills and the ability to manage clients.
4. Solid negotiating and influencing skills, strong presentation skills.
5. A genuine desire to contribute to the team whilst developing Transaction Banking experience.
6. Ability to use initiative and work autonomously in ensuring deadlines are met.
7. Well-developed verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated computer literacy.
8. The ability to read and interpret financial data.
