The role
As our Business Development Manager – WA, you will take the lead in proactively identifying, developing, and expanding strong relationships with our partners and referral sources across the region. Your focus will be on driving growth and making a meaningful impact by building connections and driving results. With your commercial and strategic mindset, you’ll be a trusted advisor that proactively navigates the sales landscape with confidence and solution selling approach.
What you’ll be doing
* Identifying, prospecting and engaging our WA partners and broker referrers.
* Developing new partnerships across various industries.
* Gathering insights to build market awareness and generate referral opportunities.
* Positioning Prospa effectively and presenting our value proposition to attract new business both, one on one or at partner and industry events
* Implementing and delivering on a strategic plan to engage partners to refer business, deliver on our territory sales volumes and ensure effective sales and marketing practices.
* Collaborating with State Managers to achieve sales targets and KPIs.
* Growing partner referrals and managing ongoing relationships.
* Providing regular sales pipeline updates.
* Attending and presenting at partner and industry events.
* Maintaining accurate CRM records.
What you’ll need to succeed
* Proven experience in a fast-paced sales role with a track record of success.
* Strong prospecting, objection handling and presentation skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to manage key accounts and meet budget targets.
* Experience in identifying and partnering with target markets.
* Understanding of SME business drivers and motivators.
* Experience with finance broker markets or channel partnerships (advantageous).
* Strong self-management and self-leadership skills to navigate an independent and autonomous role
* Proactive, innovative and entrepreneurial mindset
