About the role: Our client, a well-established supplier of high quality meat products, is seeking a qualified & experienced HR Officer to work in their Cannon Hill business on a full time, permanent basis.
This role will suit a highly motivated self-starter, providing valuable support to key stakeholders.
You will work with a diverse team on the AM shift, providing a one-stop shop level of HR support to employees, Supervisors & Managers, including: being first point of contact for HR matters, high levels of employee engagement, providing timely responses to queries, interpretation & application of policy, managing grievances & complaints and supporting ill & injured employees.
Working hours are Mon-Fri – About you: You will have strong, generalist HR experience (minimum of 2 years in a similar role), with experience in recruitment & selection, disciplinary & grievance investigations and use of HR Information Systems.
You will have a high attention to detail & solid planning and organisational skills.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills, strong resilience and the ability to demonstrate a high level of confidentiality & discretion are the key to the success of this role.
A background in working in meat production would be an advantage.
