Your role?As a Creature TD you will be responsible for the creation of outstanding character and creature simulations using various software technologies. You are able to wrangle rigging and creature pipeline issues proficiently under the direction and support of your supervisors and you have the ability to run flesh-surface, hair, rigid sim, crowd and cloth simulations.What will you be doing?Provide rigging and enveloping in Maya for various vehicles, characters, and creaturesRun cloth, hair, rigid body, crowd, or muscle simulationsTroubleshoot creature pipeline issues for artists in other disciplinesScript utilities/tools/plug-ins in MayaParticipate in reviews, dailies, and department meetings as requiredExperience in hair sims in Houdini a plusAny Houdini hair or feather sim experience is beneficialSpecial projects as necessaryTo be a contributing member of this team, you will have a mix of these skills:1-2 years relevant professional experience and a diploma in computer graphics, fine arts, design, or photography, or related field.Experience as Maya rigger for assets in digital animation, visual effects, games, commercialsExperience running simulation shotworkExperience in corrective sculptingKnowledge of anatomy and envelopingPositive attitude and team playerGood communication skills
