This is an exciting opportunity to join their team & assist with L&D requirements to support young people with real-world experiences and industry preparation. The role will require part-time hours and will be offered as a temporary assignment during terms 1-3 of the 2025 school year. Your new role Based in Georgetown, Tasmania, this role will see you work collaboratively with the GFG Foundation and a multi-skilled team across Australia. As the Education Specialist, you will deliver a 10-week curriculum programme for two secondary school student cohorts, from years 7-10.You will be responsible for providing ongoing support and instruction for industry mentor participation, support with the development and implementation of an end-of-year showcase event and delivering the program in a way that is engaging and age appropriate.If you have a background in teaching, have a passion for STEM technology, and demonstrated experience of delivering educational resources, then we want to hear from you What you'll need to succeed Youll have demonstrated experience as a qualified teacher or similar, along with: Proven experience of delivering educational programs or resources High level written and oral communication skills, in a variety of formats, including digital delivery Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment Proven abilities to deal with ambiguity, successfully adapting to changing circumstances.
