As a Project Officer, you will: Develop and provide the necessary documentation to support the management and coordination of gender-based violence primary prevention programs including development of reports, presentation and communications.Provide high-level administrative and business support to the Incident Prevention and Education team as required.Regularly review legislation, standards and policy (including International Branch Campuses) to ensure Deakin is maintaining compliance with relevant authorities, legislative frameworks and best practice.Provide subject matter expertise on induction and compliance training for all staff and students.Plan and prioritise work and recognise barriers to achieving outcomes, finding effective ways to deal with them and evaluate progress.Develop and implement practical, accessible solutions based on the Inclusion team or stakeholder needs.Communicate with confidence using examples to increase understanding and support.To be successful, you'll have: A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; orExtensive, relevant experience and specialist knowledge in project support or administrative fields; orAn equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.Experience of working in a complex organisation with multiple policies, procedures and operating practices with the ability to interpret these policies and procedures.Knowledge of the principles of primary prevention or positive duty.Here's how to apply: Please submit your updated resume and a short cover letter outlining your skills and experience.
