About the PositionWe are seeking an experienced Administration Officer who is looking for a new challenge. You will provide a high level of administrative support to maintain effective and efficient daily site operations within the Narrogin Hay site.
This is a Permanent Part-Time position which will help to provide excellent administration support to our on-site reporting, sample testing and product processing. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who is keen to learn to join our fantastic team.
The hours for this part-time position are Monday to Friday 6am – 10am. *Please also be aware that overtime will be required when other office staff take annual leave.* Key ResponsibilitiesGeneral administration tasks including answering phones, taking notes, filing documents, and maintaining the office area.Ensuring a smooth and safe process for on-site visitor sign-in, inductions, truck driver arrivals and for new employees.Processing work orders, weighbridge receival dockets, and forms in our JDE system.Collecting hay samples, accurately documenting these and processing for dispatch for testing.Weighing, moisture testing and visually inspecting incoming products.Generating and issuing tags for our products.To be successful in this role you will have:Substantial previous experience in an Administration role is essential.A strong working knowledge of the full Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, Outlook etc).Previous experience using the JDE or a similar reporting tool is desirable (but training will be provided).Sound organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Effective time management with ability to plan and prioritise tasks.In return, we offer:Secure, permanent work.Opportunities to grow your current skills, knowledge, and career.A supportive team and positive work environment.An Immediate start for the right candidate.Competitive pay, benefits, and overtime opportunities.Successful Applicants must have full working rights in Australia.
