Context The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced P6 Project Planner/Scheduler to join the Planning & Scheduling Team for large multi-disciplinary infrastructure and rail upgrade projects in Perth. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a major infrastructure initiative that will enhance rail service capacity and efficiency.
Missions/Main Duties Key Responsibilities: Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6. Provide specialist scheduling services, advice, and guidance to project managers and stakeholders. Ensure schedules align with project priorities, objectives, and deliverables. Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and recommend mitigation strategies. Coordinate with engineering and technical teams to integrate planning activities. Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders on project timelines and risks. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project planning and scheduling processes. Profile/Skills Required Qualifications: 5-10+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling from initiation to completion. Strong knowledge of engineering planning principles, standards, and methodologies. Experience working in large organisations or managing multiple complex projects simultaneously. Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6 and related project scheduling tools. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to anticipate project challenges and develop solutions. Knowledge of CBTC and LTE networks/deployments is desirable.
