Key Responsibilities: Provide expert legal advice on digital banking services, fintech partnerships, and emerging technologies. Ensure compliance with Australian financial services laws, data privacy regulations, and consumer protection frameworks. Advise on legal risk management for mobile banking platforms, digital wallets, and payment systems. Draft, negotiate, and review complex commercial agreements related to digital banking products and technology solutions. Engage with regulators, industry bodies, and internal stakeholders on compliance and policy matters. Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, ensuring proactive adaptation to legal changes. Qualifications & Experience: A tertiary qualification in Law (LLB or equivalent) with current Australian legal practising certification. Minimum 5 years of experience in financial services law, banking regulation, or technology law. Strong understanding of Australian financial services regulations, ASIC and APRA requirements, and consumer protection laws. Experience advising on digital banking platforms, fintech partnerships, and emerging payment technologies. Proven ability to manage complex legal matters in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
