Job Description
A key leadership role for a Team Lead to manage the day-to-day operations of Aristocrat's Global Infrastructure Services (GIS) in Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain network and server infrastructure, data communications, and telecommunications systems.
* Resolve hardware and software issues efficiently.
Strategy & Planning:
* Assist in planning and deploying infrastructure security measures.
* Collaborate with the IT Engineering Manager to develop IT strategies.
* Research and recommend products, services, protocols, and standards for infrastructure procurement and development.
* Manage IT vendor and third-party contracts.
Operational Management:
* Lead and guide the IT operations team, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
* Analyze problems and trends to reduce incidents and improve performance.
* Coordinate software and hardware changes deployment.
* Ensure team training and manage production systems availability, performance, capacity, and operational costs.
Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) and Compliance:
* Adhere to and enforce OHS regulations.
* Demonstrate OHS practices and proactive approach.
* Participate in Aristocrat Due Diligence framework.
* Ensure zero compliance breaches.
Requirements:
* University degree or college diploma in computer technology, information systems, or business information systems.
* Certification such as Microsoft Certified Engineer (MSCE/MCITP) or equivalent experience.
* Advanced technical training (CCNA, A+, N+, Security preferred).
* 10+ years of relevant experience managing teams in large enterprise environments and complex networks.
Competencies:
* In-depth knowledge of networks, Windows servers, virtualization, and high-availability technologies.
* Knowledge of current systems software, protocols, and standards.
* Infrastructure management tools and evaluation principles.
