The Role: Laboratory Manager
We seek an experienced Laboratory Manager to lead our Geo-Analytical Laboratory in Adelaide, SA.
Key Responsibilities:
* Laboratory Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring a safe working environment for staff and adherence to QHSE procedures.
* Financial Management: Maintain financial control of the lab, meeting or exceeding KPIs and business expectations.
* Quality Assurance: Monitor performance, provide feedback, and ensure ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 accreditation.
* Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to the Business Development Team, Client Service Team, and remote regional sites.
Requirements:
* Education: Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related field.
* Experience: Quantifiable practical experience in Geochemical Labs, preferably with knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
* Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, proficiency in computer software, and experience in sample preparation and analysis.
