The Opportunity
We’re seeking a General Practitioner to join a well-supported team delivering essential medical care to aged care residents in Cairns. Working within a structured and collaborative environment, you’ll be supported by a full-time nurse, a geriatrician, and experienced administrative staff. Your role will involve conducting consultations, managing chronic conditions, and enhancing the quality of life for residents—all without the burden of after-hours commitments.
Who We’re Looking For
* A dedicated GP with a strong interest in aged care.
* Current AHPRA registration (unrestricted).
* RACGP or FACRRM fellowship (or in the process of obtaining fellowship).
What’s on Offer
* Flexible schedule – choose two days per week that suit you.
* Competitive pay:
$250 per hour for GPs with fellowship.
$220 per hour for GPs working towards fellowship.
* Dedicated RN support during rounds.
* Be supported by an admin team and an after hours service.
