The manager also serves as a liaison between store operations and the Corps, keeping both teams informed.
Additionally, the manager supervises all volunteers and the Assistant Manager.
About The RoleWe are seeking a dedicated Thrift shop manager for our Thrift shop in a Part-time capacity.
This position is a Permanent based out of Kyabram, Victoria. There is a requirement of travel to another site for this role.
You will successfully Maximize sales by processing donations, managing stock, and maintaining store presentation.Delegate collection tasks, ensure stock rotation, and develop initiatives to improve sales and customer experience.Provide excellent customer service, train staff, and engage customers with TSA's mission.Promote local donations, organize sales opportunities, and approve pricing adjustments.Recruit and manage volunteers and staff for efficient store operations.
- Administer training, compliance, and performance management.Coordinate labor resources, ensure accurate timekeeping, and celebrate milestones.
- Hold regular team meetings to reinforce TSA's mission and values.Collaborate with Corps Officers to set budgets and track sales.Manage financial processes, including cash reconciliation, banking, and minimizing losses.Maintain accurate records, respond to inquiries, and update safety documentation.Lead WH&S efforts, including compliance, inspections, and safety training.Maintain store cleanliness, security, and operational safety.Ensure WH&S procedures are followed and administer First Aid if needed.You will have 2+ years of demonstrated and relevant retail industry experienceExperience in retail management desirableDemonstrated skills and experience in cash handling, financial management and team leadershipPrior experience in a charitable recycling retail operation desirableDemonstrated skills and experience in cash handling, financial management, team leadership and store operations.Physical ability to safely sit, stand, walk regularly and for long periods of timeRequirement to travel across 3 sites - Kyabram, Echuca and Rochester Corps.A Nationally Coordinated Criminal History CheckA current and valid Working with Children's CheckA valid Victorian Driver's license essentialWhat we offerAs a registered NFP we offer our eligible employees real and meaningful benefits such as;
