1. Design, implement, and maintain storage solutions based on Commvault Metallic and Pure Storage platforms.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand storage requirements and develop appropriate solutions.
3. Monitor storage performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimise storage systems to ensure maximum efficiency and uptime.
4. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including backups, data migrations, and firmware updates.
5. Assist in capacity planning and provide recommendations for storage upgrades or expansions.
6. Create and maintain documentation, including system diagrams, configuration details, and standard operating procedures.
7. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to storage and backup solutions.
8. Participate in on-call rotation and provide timely response to critical incidents.
Requirements:
9. Proven experience as a Storage Engineer, with a strong focus on Commvault Metallic and Pure Storage.
10. In-depth knowledge of storage technologies, protocols, and best practices.
11. Proficiency in implementing and managing Commvault Metallic and Pure Storage solutions.
12. Solid understanding of backup and recovery strategies.
13. Strong analytic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex storage issues.
14. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
15. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
