As one of Australia's busiest tertiary perinatal centres, the Women's can care for the full spectrum of risk in pregnancy, from straightforward gestations to those with complex maternal and foetal conditions. Also, as a major training institution for all disciplines related to maternity care, research is a major focus of Maternity Services, in both the medical and midwifery domains.About the roleThe Clinical Midwife Consultant is an expert midwife with advanced theoretical and clinical skills who provides clinical resource, clinical advisory/development and undertakes related projects and development activities to meet specified clinical midwifery needs across the continuum of care in Maternity Services.
