Job Description
The management assistant/general affairs officer serves as a key support role, with two main responsibilities:
* Management Assistant: Providing administrative support to the (Deputy) Consul-General and assisting the team with various tasks.
* General Affairs Officer: Handling administrative tasks related to the general functioning of the Consulate General's office.
The General Affairs tasks are supervised by the Deputy Consul General in Sydney, while some processes are overseen by the operational manager at the NL Embassy in Canberra.
Requirements
We are seeking a highly motivated, service-oriented individual who can provide administrative and operational support to the Consulate General in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong organisational and planning abilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Agenda and mailbox management, drafting minutes of management meetings, coordination and preparation of meetings, receiving and welcoming external guests, customer relation management, and updating databases.
* Organising receptions/events and handling administrative and logistical tasks in support of business processes, such as general administration, website maintenance, purchasing, payment of invoices, and building maintenance.
Working Conditions
This is a part-time position, with 30-38 hours per week, Monday-Thursday from 07:30-17:30 hrs and Friday from 07:30-14:00 hrs. You will work alongside another experienced management assistant/general affairs officer.

Please note that a police clearance/certificate of good conduct is a prerequisite for this position.
