Key Core Responsibilities:(based on our expectations of a warehouse co-ordinator with approximately 5 years of experience)
Logistics & DistributionOverseeing inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Coordinating with carriers, freight forwarders, and couriers to ensure all shipments can be accounted for when ratification or if resolution is required.
Inventory ManagementMaintaining accurate inventory levels and conducting regular stock takes that may involve a cross-reference with the dedicated distribution partner. Managing returns, damaged goods, and discrepancies with stock in conjunction with the technical support & service coordinator and operations manager
Team SupervisionAssigning tasks to warehouse staff and managing the productivity and outcome of these activities. Ensuring smooth operation during any resource handover during periods of high demand and/or when staff are on leave or absent
Process ImprovementLearn and oversee current warehouse best practise and where applicable recommend and implement innovations to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce costs. Where applicable formalise and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in conjunction with the operations manager
Technology and Software ApplicationsUtilising warehouse management systems (WMS) that include software platforms such as Zendesk and Xero for inventory tracking and reporting. For enterprise resource planning applications (ERP), experience in the use of Podio project management or similar software or an ability to proactively learn the Podio platform as required. Intermediate experience with Microsoft applications will be an expectation
Compliance & ReportingEnsuring compliance with workplace safety standards and company policies and assist in the reporting of regular audits to the operations manager as required. Reporting to the operations manager on inventory levels, order fulfillment rates, and operational metrics under their guidance as required

Logistics CoordinationA minimum of 5 years of warehouse skills and experience will see you successfully demonstrate best practice in freight, transportation, and distribution processes. The appropriate candidate will require the experience to successfully plan and optimise delivery schedules for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Stock ManagementThe warehouse coordinator is required to be a highly organised warehouse leader that provides clear meaningful communication. In conjunction with the operations manager, our warehouse strategy assumes we dispatch our oldest or most appropriate inventory first and in doing so, accurate checks and measurements need to be in place on a regular basis to manage, account for and communicate all stock that is on-hand or scheduled for dispatch
Software & Database ExpertiseExperience with software packages such as Zendesk, Zoho and Podio (or equivalent) will be highly advantageous in us considering your submission along with intermediate expertise in Microsoft applications – in particular excel
Communication and LeadershipStrong interpersonal skills for coordinating with suppliers, couriers, and internal team members. In conjunction with operations manager, regular reviews and audits on logistics suppliers are to be implemented to ensure Aurora Signage is being provided the best service and support. Experience in managing and mentoring warehouse staff is highly advantageous
Problem-Solving & Decision-MakingWe are looking for an individual who is not deterred in making a decision and owning the outcome. We are in search for a team member who is willing to make positive change in our business and has a proven ability to troubleshoot logistics issues and streamline warehouse processes. Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once will be highly regarded
Health, Safety, and Compliance An individual who has knowledge of workplace safety standards and protocols and who possess the confidence to “call-out” best practice as required (ideally WHS accredited). Familiarity with regulatory requirements, such as safe working protocol, PPE and working with heights and their regulation is of high expectation
Attention to DetailIn coordination with the operations manager, accuracy in record-keeping and order processing is a mandatory expectation. The ability to identify and rectify inventory errors promptly will be a measurable expectation in this role
