TMR is an organisation which offers professional development, a variety of interesting work state-wide, a safe, healthy and secure workplace and flexible work and lifestyle options.Key ResponsibilitiesThe purpose of the Senior Application Developer (GIS) role is to provide development, support, and maintenance services primarily on GIS platforms.Promote the optimisation of Transport and Main Road's (TMR) information architecture and application development process, by providing technical advice and reports to support effective management decisions.Promote information technology best practice within TMR by coaching other technical staff in effective system development techniques and proactively reviewing technical documentation, including standards, system design and coding.Undertake systems analysis, application design, programming, unit testing, documentation, implementation, and support to deliver business requirements.Lead in the implementation of quality improvement programs in information management, information systems, information technology and telecommunications.Lead in the research, recommendations and developing solutions in within the application development environment.About YouWe recognise and celebrate that everyone is unique and seek the applicant best suited to the role.
