We’re looking for an exceptional leader to guide the next stage in the development of our Melbourne Bulk Containerised Freight Operations.

You will be a person with a demonstrated track record of success, who is motivated to grow their people and their business. In this role, you will be a key player in the Bulk East leadership team, taking responsibility for the North Dynon, Melbourne and Junee operations.
About the role
Reporting to the General Manager Bulk East, you’ll be accountable for partnering with customers and leading operational teams to ensure the delivery of safe, reliable and cost-effective supply chain services for our valued Bulk customers. You will:
* Lead and implement strategies to sustain a strong safety culture.
* Inspire and manage a team of regional operations leaders to deliver exceptional people and operations results.
* Drive superior customer service outcomes through achieving and exceeding operational performance targets.
* Manage the end-to-end supply chain and full P&L for the region.
* Work collaboratively to identify and implement plans that harness opportunities for continuous improvement.
* Act to mitigate risks within the region, supporting delivery of strategic goals, whilst ensuring flexibility for future opportunities.
* Shape and advise on the development and implementation of short-, medium- and long-term strategic plans for the Containerised Freight operations.
* Build and manage internal and external relationships that will enhance the Bulk growth pipeline.
