Key Responsibilities of this Role: • Provide leadership and management of the service centre team focused on developing and implementing initiatives aimed at improving community and economic participation outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and individuals.• Provide quality advice and support to the Regional Director and the regional team on a range of local issues relating to the implementation of the whole of government initiatives or strategies in the Rockhampton Service Centre.• Where required, assist in the implementation of the Local Thriving Communities program.• Co-ordinate and deliver appropriate industry and community engagement processes, including the implementation of the Economic Participation Framework.• Ensure the appropriate systems, processes, networks, and relationships are established and maintained to enable the department to lead, influence, and obtain collaboration between local, state, and commonwealth government agencies, private sector organisations, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities within the Central Queensland area, to improve service delivery outcomes.• Prepare submissions, reports, and briefs on significant issues, including providing high quality and timely advice and analysis to Senior and Executive Management on economic participation issues.• Actively participate in and contribute to the good governance and objectives of the Rockhampton Service Centre, region, directorate, and department.• Ensure effective management of human, financial, and physical resources in the Rockhampton Service Centre, ensuring a culture of client service, continuous improvement, and innovation while ensuring performance outcomes are achieved to a high standard.• Contribute to the region's strategic and operational planning process.• Prepare complex reports, briefs, and other forms of correspondence that will provide advice and information to the Regional Director and Senior Management.• All staff are responsible for identifying, managing, and reporting risks relating to their work with TATSIPCA.Applications to remain current for 12 months.#J-18808-Ljbffr
