The UX Research team functions as a centralised capability within the organisation, working alongside our Product and Engineering teams.In this role, you'll be key in understanding our users and uncovering insights that shape the creation of outstanding products. Your work will help make products that truly connect with our customers and drive business growth. You'll focus on enhancing our Agency Marketplace and Services offerings. With your expertise in research methods and user-focused design, you'll ensure that our products, features, and experiences align with our long-term goals. This role is about pushing boundaries, supporting our product and design teams, and helping create amazing products and experiences that users love.What the role is all aboutLead research initiatives (plan, formulate and undertake) to discover problems, define solutions and validate concepts and prototypes with our customersDemonstrate a deep understanding of different research methods, their strengths, and limitations, and know when and how to apply them at each stage of the product lifecycleUtilise quantitative data analysis and statistical techniques as part of a mixed methods approachCollaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align research efforts with broader business objectivesDesign and facilitate workshops, user research sessions, stakeholder interviews, and research critique sessionsTranslate research insights into strategic recommendations to inform product strategy and decision-makingCommunicate research insights effectively to diverse audiences including senior stakeholders across the organisationMentor designers and PWDR (people who do research), providing guidance on research best practices and inspiring and motivating othersHelp steer our UX Research practice by maintaining and iterating research templates and frameworks, research libraries, and recruitment processesWho we’re looking forSomeone with runs on the board – experience practising design research, predominately qualitative approaches for problem validation, foundational research, and strategic research projectsAn impressive background leading design research methodology, including facilitating workshops with stakeholders and/or customers and using various ideation techniquesWell-developed analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skillsExcellent stakeholder management skills and ability to build relationships across different levels in the organisation, as well as with our B2B customers.Strong communication skills to drive impact and effective influencingA growth mindset, a positive attitude and ability to take on and give clear and constructive feedbackSomeone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, with an intrapreneurial ownership mentalityThe REA experienceThe physical, mental, emotional and financial health of our people is something we’ll never stop caring about.
