Job Title: Senior Town Planner

About the Role:
Aspect Personnel has been engaged by an award-winning, employee owned firm in Brisbane who are trusted advisors across Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Master Planning, Development Approvals and Community Engagement. They are seeking a Senior Town Planner to join their dynamic team, contributing to a wide range of development projects across education, commercial, health-care, tourism, sports & recreation and residential sectors. Technical Skills Required:
* Support the development strategy and manage planning applications.
* Draft application materials, correspondence, and reports.
* Engage and coordinate various consultants, ensuring project success.
* Understand and apply core and relevant legislation and statutory planning requirements.
* Undertake site investigations, due diligence, and provide general planning advice.
Consulting Capabilities:
* Support the management of multiple projects at one time, ensuring delivery within scope and budget.
* Draft fee proposals, tenders, and contribute to financial oversight of projects.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities where possible.
* Develop relationships with key stakeholders to drive project success.
Professional Capabilities:
* Mentor junior staff, providing guidance and supporting professional growth.
* Contribute to knowledge sharing across the team and organisation.
What You’ll Bring:
* Proven experience in town planning with a strong understanding of legislation, statutory requirements, and policy research.
* Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients, government bodies, and multidisciplinary teams.
* Experience managing projects, drafting proposals, and adhering to project budgets.
* A passion for mentoring and developing junior talent within a planning team.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with an analytical approach to resolving planning issues.

Salary Range
Expect a competitive salary of $100,000 to $120,000 plus super + perks.
