Job Description
We are looking to grow our ACT team and an opportunity has become available for a Team Leader to help us achieve this goal. You will provide leadership and direction to your team of rehabilitation consultants, and engage with customers, whilst maintaining a caseload of your own.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Providing leadership and coaching to consultants
2. Overseeing the team's performance and quality
3. Building strong relationships with customers and other stakeholders
4. Exploring new opportunities and growth areas
5. Undertaking a range of assessments and case work
Qualifications
What you'll bring to the role
1. Qualifications and registration in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Social Work, Nursing or Rehabilitation Counselling
2. At least 2 years experience in workers compensation, rehabilitation and occupational health and safety legislation
3. A willingness to travel (Current Vehicle and Drivers Licence compulsory)
4. A confident approach towards engaging with multiple stakeholders such as insurers, medical practitioners, employers, colleagues and employees
5. An inclusive and integrative attitude towards engaging with the many diverse cultural groups that make up the society in which we live and work
6. A passion for mentoring and coaching
7. Proven written and verbal communication skills
8. Determination to consistently provide a high level of customer service to large customers
9. A keen sense of punctuality and the effective ability to manage your time
