About the opportunity
Seeking a motivated and experienced General and Subspecialty Physician to join our friendly and professional team, who maintain an excellent work/life balance in the country.
This service provides a medical tertiary referral centre for surrounding areas of the Central West. On-call is approximately 1 in 4. There are three medical teams each with a consultant, registrar and resident/intern. There is additional support from subspecialty consultation, as well as ICU, hospital in the home and ambulatory care services.
Successful applicants will have the ability to practise in their specialty. This may include opportunities in outreach clinics.

1. Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
2. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
3. Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
4. Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
5. Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time.
6. Fellowship of the applicable College.
7. Demonstrated technical and professional competence as a physician, and in the subspecialty practice nephrology medicine and gastroenterology with Australian clinical hospital experience at consultant level.
