This is an exciting opportunity for a driven professional with a background in mechanical engineering and a passion for sales. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining and developing relationships with both existing and new customers, providing technical solutions, and contributing to business growth. Your new role 1. Sales & Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Identify and develop new business opportunities. Understand customer requirements and offer technical solutions in hydraulics and mechanical engineering. Meet or exceed sales targets and business goals. Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing enquiries and resolving issues promptly. 2. Technical Expertise: Provide engineering solutions and technical support to customers. Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical documentation. Advise customers on product selection, installation, and maintenance. 3. Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales, engineering, technical, and workshop teams to ensure accuracy in sales proposals and specifications. Assist in developing sales strategies and providing market trend insights. 4. Store & Logistics Management: Receipt, storage, dispatch of materials and products. Conduct quality and quantity checks for incoming stock. Ensure accurate inventory records and manage logistics for deliveries and pickups. 5. Professional Development: Stay updated with industry trends, new products, and emerging technologies. Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a commitment to continuous improvement. What you'll need to succeed A degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering (or related field), or trade qualification with experience in the local hydraulic industry. Knowledge of hydraulics and mechanical engineering principles. Strong communication skills (verbal and written). Goal-oriented mindset with a passion for achieving sales targets. Energetic and enthusiastic approach to learning and career growth. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
