Job Title: Police Communication Operator
The Queensland Police Service (QPS) is seeking highly skilled and compassionate individuals to join its Communications Group as Police Communication Operators. This role is responsible for providing superior, client-focused 'Triple Zero Call Taking and Police Dispatch' services across Queensland in response to community requests for assistance.

Your Role:
* You will answer Triple Zero (000) emergency calls for service from the Qld public in challenging situations.
* You will accurately record important time-critical information from callers.
* You will identify and allocate resources to life-threatening or significant situations.
* You will accurately relay information to operational police officers.
* You will answer routine telephone requests for assistance from the public.

Training Program:
1. Phase 1 - Foundations (4 weeks): Onboarding and basic Incident creation.
2. Phase 2 - Call Taking (7 weeks): Receiving 000 phone calls and complex Incident creation.
3. Phase 3 - Dispatch (7 weeks): Continuous monitoring, channel control, officer safety, dispatching, updating, and finalising incidents.
