We’re ready to help you do it.The Role:As a Software Engineer at AP+, you will play a key role in building, modernising and maintaining our microservices and associated platform and ensuring its scalability, reliability, and performance. This includes designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, automating and managing cloud-based environments, creating APIs and Lambda functions to support new services and workflows and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver new features and enhancements.Primary Accountabilities, Duties and Responsibilities: Collaborate with other software, test and DevOps engineers in the delivery and deployment of new features. Design and implement scalable and reliable application and infrastructure solutions leveraging cloud technologies. Automate and manage infrastructure and application deployments using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) frameworks. Build and Deploy Serverless Lambda Using Python or Typescript for microservice implementation. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery of applications. Work closely with software development teams to design and implement efficient and secure build and deployment processes. Monitor and troubleshoot production environments to ensure high availability and performance. Ensure compliance with industry security standards and best practices. Participate in an on-call rotation schedule, taking responsibility for platform incidents during assigned shifts. Address identified security vulnerabilities in a proactive and timely manner. We'd love to hear from you if you have: Proven experience as a Software Engineer with DevOps experience. Strong background in cloud technologies, preferably AWS. Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) frameworks such as Terraform, AWS CDK or CloudFormation. Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as JavaScript, Python, Ruby, or Java. Experience with serverless such as AWS Lambda. Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipelines, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Github actions. Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace or Prometheus.
